Blue Jays get INF Urshela from Indians for player or cash  —  TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired infielder Gio Urshela from the Cleveland Indians for a player to be named or cash.  —  Urshela hadn't played in the majors this season after a hamstring injury set him back in spring training.

Mikolas is a changed pitcher  —  Miles Mikolas last pitched on the Petco Park mound on July 31, 2013.  Then a reliever for the San Diego Padres, he retired Cincinnati's Chris Heisey on a fly ball to right in the ninth inning.  Soon thereafter he was dispatched back to Class AAA Tucson, where he completed a season of 26 saves.
