Garcia, Marlins aim to keep Phillies skidding  —  MIAMI — Jarlin Garcia has been the surprise of the season for the Miami Marlins.  —  Garcia, a 25-year-old left-hander from the Dominican Republic, will start on Tuesday night when the Philadelphia Phillies visit Marlins Park for the middle game of a three-game series.

Tigers may be minus Cabrera yet again vs. Rays  —  DETROIT — The Tigers hope slugger Miguel Cabrera can return to the lineup Tuesday night but a Wednesday afternoon comeback seems more likely.  —  Cabrera was taken out of Sunday's game in the fifth inning with left biceps spasms, which he reported Monday were much better.
