Mets place shortstop Ruben Tejada on waivers  —  JUPITER, Fla. — Ruben Tejada's time with the Mets is likely “nearing an end,” a team source said Tuesday.  Confirming reports that the embattled shortstop was placed on waivers, the source said that Tejada would probably be off the roster “in a few days.”
