Tigers Rout Angels Behind Guillen, Martinez  —  DETROIT (AP) — Carlos Guillen's two-run triple highlighted a four-run sixth inning and the Detroit Tigers went on to beat the Los Angeles Angels 12-2 on Friday night.  —  Guillen and Victor Martinez finished with four RBIs, while Ramon Santiago added three hits.

McLouth latest Brave to land on DL  —  ATLANTA — The Braves placed outfielder Nate McLouth on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a lower abdominal strain, and they called up Jose Constanza from Triple-A Gwinnett.  —  To make room on the 40-man roster for Constanza, the Braves designated Diory Hernandez for assignment.

Cardinals might not be done dealing  —  Club could still be pursuing a closer, depth in middle infield  —  ST. LOUIS — The Cardinals have of course made their big move already this month, moving Colby Rasmus and acquiring three pitchers in an eight-player deal.  They are not necessarily finished dealing, however.

KC's trade possibilities focus on rotation as deadline nears  —  The internal debate by the Royals regarding the merits of sticking with a six-man rotation could become moot over the next few days if the club succeeds in trading one of its starting pitchers.
