Wang placed on disabled list — Righty has weakness in adductor muscles of both hips — BOSTON — The Yankees placed Chien-Ming Wang on the 15-day disabled list on Friday after the struggling right-hander was diagnosed with weakness in the adductor muscles of both hips.
