Injury Problems, Closer Problems  —  So much to discuss here.  Hopefully the Wash Post doesn't rent Internet space on a per-word basis.  Leads are getting blown and closers are shaky and outfielders are reporting late to work (because of charity events!) and the DL is piling high enough to reach the clouds.

Wang's not hurt  —  Just got back up from the clubhouse.  Joe Girardi, pitching coach Dave Eiland and Chien-Ming Wang all confirmed that Wang isn't injured.  He's just struggling.  —  Giving up 23 earned runs in six innings over three starts is beyond struggling, of course.  It's reason to consider a demotion.

Greinke's scoreless innings streak at 34  —  Royals righty whiffs 10 Rangers in first career shutout  —  ARLINGTON - It's safe to say that Zack Greinke is zeroed in.  On opposing hitters.  On the stat sheet, where he has a 0.00 ERA.  On Saturday night, when he hung up nine zeros for the first time in his Major League career.
