Truth be told, injured Blalock concerns Texas Rangers  —  ARLINGTON - The Rangers were caught in a little white lie Tuesday afternoon.  By the evening, it paled in comparison to their bigger headache: the future of Hank Blalock.  —  Blalock, it turns out, did not have an upset stomach as was initially announced Monday.

BIG TRADE FOR SOX?  Don't count on it  —  If anything, you should prepare for the likelihood that whatever the Sox do, it will be relatively minor in nature.  Manny Ramirez may have told Jerry Remy he wants to be traded and hopes to find peace, but Manny's tranquility is not a high priority for the Sox these days.
