Brewers getting Sabathia from Indians  —  The Brewers have won the C.C. Sabathia sweepstakes.  The Indians have agreed to trade the ace Sabathia and two lower-level minor leaguers for a package that includes top prospect Matt LaPorta and other minor leaguers, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Francoeur to rejoin Braves on Monday  —  With three put on DL, outfielder summoned back from Minors  —  LOS ANGELES — Jeff Francoeur's stay in the Minor Leagues was a short one.  The Braves recalled him from Double-A Mississippi and he is expected to be with them in Los Angeles for Monday night's series opener against the Dodgers.
